Juli Deak

Flutist and composer Juli Deák will give her first performance in Turkey on Saturday, October 24 at 7 pm at Hara İstanbul in Sarıyer. Her set centers on how the flute interacts with different breath and blowing techniques, as well as the instrument's own mechanical sounds. Trained in classical music in Krakow and Stockholm, she also draws on improvisation, jazz and folk traditions. The concert is supported by the Liszt Institute Hungarian Cultural Center.
