The price of gasoline was cut by 4.30 lira per litre, effective from midnight on 20 October 2026. As the cut reached the pumps, fuel price boards were updated in Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir; gasoline fell below 80 lira in Istanbul.

Current prices in major cities

After the cut, gasoline costs 79.60 TL per litre on Istanbul's European side and 79.40 TL on the Anatolian side. It is 80.60 TL in Ankara, 80.80 TL in Izmir and 80.70 TL in Bursa.

Diesel per litre is 96.70 TL on Istanbul's European side, 96.50 TL on the Anatolian side, 97.80 TL in Ankara, 98.00 TL in Izmir and 97.70 TL in Bursa. LPG per litre is 41.20 TL on Istanbul's European side, 40.60 TL on the Anatolian side, 41.29 TL in Ankara, 41.20 TL in Izmir and 40.60 TL in Bursa.

What affects the prices?

Fluctuations in Brent oil prices, movements in the exchange rate and changes in tax rates continue to affect fuel prices. Pump prices in Türkiye are calculated based on processed product prices in the Mediterranean market and the exchange rate. Special consumption tax (ÖTV) and the EPDK share are added, followed by distribution and dealer margins; VAT is applied on the total to set the final pump price.
