In Didim, a district of Aydın, the theatre play "Gülbahar", which blends sadness and humor, will meet its audience on Wednesday, 21 October at 20.00 at the Didim Youth Center (DİGEM).

The neighborhood's beloved teacher on stage

The play, organized by Didim Municipality, was written by Ayşe Alagöz and is directed by Esra Demirci. The production recounts moments from the life of Gülbahar, the beloved teacher of Pembe İzler Neighborhood, through both sorrowful and cheerful scenes. Performed in a single act, the play offers a heartfelt neighborhood story.

Didim Mayor Hatice Gençay said cultural and artistic events are of great importance for city life. Gençay noted that they will continue to support such events so that citizens can be immersed in the arts. Anyone aged 13 and over can attend the play.
