An eviction case filed by a man who bought a flat with a tenant in it in Mersin was rejected. The court also ruled that the owner must pay the tenant's 41,000 TL lawyer fee.

The tenant did not leave the flat for 2 years and paid no rent during that time.

For the flat, which the owner expected to bring 20,000 TL in monthly rent, an expert set the rent at 2000 TL.
