PSG official statement

Injured in the 59th minute

The 25-year-old was injured in a duel with Barcelona's Xavi Espart in the 59th minute. He stayed on the ground in pain, could not put weight on his right foot and left the pitch with help from medical staff.

Kvaratskhelia is expected to be out for at least 6-9 months. He will therefore miss the PSG-Galatasaray match on 27 January 2027.

Dembélé and Marquinhos to receive treatment too

The club also announced that Ousmane Dembélé will receive treatment in the coming weeks for a left thigh muscle injury. Brazilian defender Marquinhos will also be treated in the coming weeks for a right thigh muscle injury sustained in the same match.
