In the indictment prepared on Lütfi Arıboğan, prosecutors found that he was part of the TFF delegation that met UEFA Chief Inspector Pierre Cornu, who visited Istanbul on 22-23 August 2011. Cornu had come to follow the match-fixing process.

Statements in Cornu's report

The indictment says Cornu's report dated 3 November 2011 also covers this meeting. The report states that TFF officials said there was absolutely no doubt that Fenerbahçe SK was involved in match-fixing.

The report clearly says that Cornu asked whether there was even a 1% chance that Fenerbahçe SK had not committed match-fixing, and that the answer he received was no.
