After the footage circulated, it was claimed that the cameraman did not let what was described as a fake wave from Trump slip by. The claim rests on an interpretation of the footage.

Context: The Kansas rally

At a rally for Republican candidates in Kansas, Trump said the US Department of Agriculture would launch an $8 billion support program to help farmers cover rising diesel costs. This development is separate from the footage in question.
