Istanbul Governor Davut Gül made a statement about the deaths of two of three people who fell ill at the "Unreal x Jeton" concert held at Istanbul Congress Center in Şişli. Gül said forensic medicine reports established that the three concertgoers had used different drugs. The third person continues to receive treatment in hospital.

Answering journalists' questions during a visit to an area, Gül said the deaths were caused by drugs:

Konu konserle ilgili değil. Konsere giden 3 hemşehrimiz maalesef farklı uyuşturucular kullanmışlar.

Samples taken

Gül said there was no problem with the concert itself or with the food and drinks consumed there. Noting that the agriculture directorate took samples, the governor said the judicial process continues because there were deaths and injuries.
